We fly out for Lithuania in only 7 days!!!
The house is slowly transforming from a family home with teenagers to a suitable family home for a 5 year old. Precious things are finding safer places throughout the house, junk is finding its way right out the door, and teens are making space in their bedrooms for younger siblings.
Donations of clothes, bedding, bikes, and booster car seats are being dropped off. Four new mattresses are getting delivered next week. Things are beginning to happen in earnest!
But the most exciting thing this week is the new (actually very old) van we bought. It has 15 seats so plenty of room for friends to join us on outings. There is even a T.V. that plays VHS tapes. I did mention it was old! We are going to keep my little car for running around town and this bus, I mean van, will be used for getting us to places we all need to be. Like church once a week because we won't be able to afford to put any more gas in it than that!
