Day 4

What a day!

Town Hall

Everything started out great. We enjoyed a walk through Old Town Vilnius viewing some old churches.

The workers in front of this church are repairing the pavement with cobblestones.

Then things went a little sideways.

The ceiling inside one of the churches.

One of the girls started complaining of a tooth ache. Looking inside she has a large cavity in one of her back teeth. When she had tears running down her face Papa Bear went to find a Pharmacy for painkillers.

Inside the same church.

With in 5 minutes of returning we had a more serious accident. The youngest boy was riding on the older boy's shoulders, they over balanced and down the younger one came. On to the sharp edge of the coffee table. The results were a trip to the local hospital and 2 stitches for their efforts!

One of the many churches in the Old Town District.
Court is only one more day away and our little man has to wear a bandage and head net thingy to keep the bandage in place. Won't that look awesome before the judge and Social Services (Lithuanian style)!

Side roads are small and often blocked by parked cars.

Please pray for both our wounded warrior and his sister that they don't get anymore pain. Also pray for the children as they are afraid that they will be sent back to the orphanage because of their behaviour.

Another narrow one way side street.

I spent the evening reading with them all and sitting with them until they all fell asleep, which was close to 11pm. I think they are learning that we love them.

Pigeons love the old derelict buildings.
