Day 1

We have arrived in Lithuania!

Our flight out of Canada was delayed so we got into Warsaw, Poland just as our connecting flight to Lithuania took off. Thankfully we were not stranded for very long! We took the next flight into Lithuania, only about a 4 hour wait.

The apartment where we are staying is right in the old town area of Vilnius. Plenty of sightseeing opportunities within walking distance!

We have a children's playground directly outside our door so the children can go out with any one of us to play while whoever is inside can still watch them.

The streets are clean but there is graffiti everywhere and old buildings well past their prime with broken windows etc.

Kiwi Boy found his paradise! There is a LEGO store in the mall we went to. The mall is much larger than what we are used to. Perhaps the largest I have ever been in. We stocked up with groceries and bought two Lithuanian/English story books for the children. Lithuanian on one side of the page and English on the other. Very cool!

Today we go and meet our children so please pray for us all!
