One Week Today!

We just received a wonderful three page e-mail from our adoption representative. She explains what is going to happen once we land in Lithuania. Things are not what we were expecting but very exciting!




One week from today on May 12th...


We meet our 4 beautiful children for the first time!

Our children get to come and live with us at the apartment we are renting in Lithuania!


One week from today on May 12th...


We take on the role of parenting these 4 beautiful children full time!


One week from today on May 12th...


The children will be saying a sad good-bye to all their friends!


One week from today on May 12th...


The children may be leaving the orphanage grounds for the last time!


One week from today on May 12th...


The life and heritage of these 4 beautiful children may be changing forever!




So the children get to come and live with us as a family before court (this is a requirement for older children in Lithuania) and if the judge waives the 40 day waiting period they never have to go back to the orphanage. NEVER! EVER!


Never to be orphans again!
