Christmas Calendar

Every year one of us kids makes Papa Bear a calendar with pictures of our dogs for Christmas.

Before he left Papa Bear and I were talking and he said how he had been wondering what pictures would be on his calendar this year.

I went looking through all our photos that we have taken over the year. There are a lot of crazy images of the dogs!

I love making things for my family at Christmas it is so much fun. It also seems to mean more to them and when I can make something useful it means even more!

I hope that whatever you do for Christmas this year you will have tons of fun doing it, and that it will bring great joy to the lucky recipient.

Merry Christmas,

Jelly Beans

P.S. Only 18 days to go! I'm super excited!!!

Papa Bear

We miss you, Papa Bear!

Papa Bear has been away for a week now and we are missing him terribly. He travels to New Zealand four times a year for work. It always seems to be the busiest times of the year. We are surviving without him and we will have him back in 11 days. But we still miss you, Papa Bear!

Give all our family and friends a great big hug for us.

Another busy day!

We enjoyed another day loving on Little Monkey!

Kiwi Boy went to a specialist's appointment. Wiggles volunteered at the local Pregnancy Centre. Jelly Beans had her fingerprints taken for her required Police Check in the next stage of our adoption process.

Wiggles then went babysitting. Jelly Beans and Kiwi Boy attended swim training. I picked up a few groceries.

Finally we all made it back home in time for supper and bed.

Tomorrow is yet another busy day!

You were hungry...

We received an early morning phone call today asking for help.

Little Monkey and her family had woken up to wet toes. Their basement apartment was flooded!

It has rained here for about a week so the soil is saturated and then last night it rained, and rained hard. The kids call it 'real rain' meaning rain like in New Zealand, a good hard steady rain.

I went and picked up Little Monkey still in her pjs.

Gave Mummy a hug.

Watched Daddy wring out yet another soaking wet towel.

And left with the promise to call someone who might be able to help.

By lunch time Little Monkey's family had a new apartment to move into.

Received money to replace groceries. And were given an offer to help move their belongings.

GOD IS SO GOOD!

Sure they had started to look for a new apartment earlier in the week.

But God knew what was happening in their lives even before they did. He had the solution half way there before the full crisis hit.

Please pray with me that this little family can see God working for their good.

Please pray that they can see His ever enduring love!

Swimming Fast!

This weekend I had a swim meet. I raced really well and took tons of time off all the events that I swam.

I had tons of fun with my friends and I qualified for an inter-provincial swim meet!

It will be awesome to travel and race in another province!

The Grace of God

This afternoon I got to see and touch one very new, very small, very special, baby girl. She weighed only 3lbs and 9ozs. But God's grace is with her!

She is breathing on her own, and looking very pink. She is in an incubator to keep warm and safe. And she has one very proud Daddy!

Taken on Daddy's phone only minutes after her birth.

Please keep praying for her and Mummy. They have many long days in the hospital still ahead.

Congratulations to the whole family!

Sleepover

Guess who has come for a visit and a sleepover?

It's Little Monkey!

And now she is walking,
so don't let her out of your sight.

Night, night, Little Monkey.

We love you!
